Do you have old computers even printers lying around collecting dust?
Computer maker Dell and Goodwill stores will now take old computers and accessories for Free…and recycling them. The new program called RE-CONNECT partners Dell with Goodwill in 49 counties in our state. Goodwill will take care of the donations, while Dell will deal with the recycling. Reconnect
The New Jersey Supreme Court has ruled that same sex couples under the equal protection guarantee of the New Jersey Constitution must be afforded the same rights and benefits enjoyed by traditionally married couples. The state Legislature in New Jersey now has 180 days to decide whether to give same-sex couples the right to legally "marry" or create civil unions.
FYI: An estimated 40 million Americans did NOT vote in 2004.
Why wait until November 7th…if you are registered to vote in North Carolina you can vote early…through November 4th.

SPORTS:
- The Elkin Tribune saying that Elkin High School faces sanctions, perhaps forfeiting three non-conference football games, after allegedly used an ineligible player. The sanctions would not affect the school's conference record…but could drop Elkin High to a lower seed for the playoffs.
-Game Four of the World Series was rained out last night. Weather permitting…Game Four tonight. Game Five will be played on Friday night.
This is the first World Series post-ponement since 1996.
Welcome Home:
169 members of the Bravo Battery, 5th Battalion, 113th Field Artillery Unit are now back in the Triad after a tour of duty in Iraq. Praise report: All of the soldiers who shipped out with Bravo made it back…only one soldier was injured.
