GASOLINE PRICES HAVE FALLEN MORE THAN A DIME SINCE FRIDAY. Triple A saying the national average for regular unleaded is just under $2.69 a gallon. On Friday, it was averaging two dollars-and-78 cents a gallon.

ACTRESS JENNIFER HUDSON IS OFFERING A ONE-HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLAR REWARD FOR THE SAFE RETURN OF HER SEVEN-YEAR OLD NEPHEW. The boy's been missing since Jennifer's mother and brother were found fatally shot in their home on Friday.

CLASSES CANCELLED WHILE POLICE INVESTIGATE A DEADLY SHOOTING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL ARKANSAS. The shooting last night claimed the lives of two students and left a third person -- not a student -- wounded. Police have one person in custody and are reportedly looking for three more. Classes are cancelled today.

Students and staff at Mitchell Community College used homemade catapults to launch pumpkins painted to resemble the candidates' faces during the annual Punkin’ Chunkin’ contast. The decorated political pumpkins were a hit...after all of the recounts, hanging pumpkin seeds…the so called winners: John McCain's pumpkin beating out Barack Obama's Kay Hagan beat Senator Elizabeth Dole, and in the governor's race, Pat McCrory and Beverly Perdue's pumpkins tied.
