With Veteran’s Day on Saturday…Today is a Federal Holiday
Millions of bottles of the widely used pain medication a-ce-ta-min-o-phen are being recalled because the caplets may contain ‘metal fragments’.
The recall involves the 500 milligram caplets made by the Perrigo Company and sold under store brands including Wal-Mart, CVS and 120 other retailers.

The Guilford County Fire Marshal’s Office and Sheriff’s Department
(along with the SBI and ATF) are still trying to determine the exact cause and origin of the fire that destroyed Eastern Guilford High School on November 1st.
Anyone with information regarding the fire at Eastern Guilford should contact the Guilford County Fire Marshal’s Office at 336-641-7565 or Crimestoppers at 336-373-1000.

On Wednesday…the U.S. Supreme Court listened to both sides of the debate over whether a federal ban on partial-birth abortions (a controversial procedure also known as dilation and extraction) should be upheld.
-Jay Sekulow, chief counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice, feels optimistic about the high court's review of the partial-birth abortion ban. "Three of the Justices -- Justices Kennedy, Scalia, and Thomas -- have already compared partial birth abortion…to infanticide.
-In 2000, the Supreme Court voted 5-4 to reject the ban on partial-birth abortions.
The High court will not announce its decision on the ban until sometime late in June.
