The Senate has passed a bill that bans lead from children's toys and other products. Last year, lead paint was a major factor in the recall of 45 million toys and other children's items. Many of those items came from China. www.healthday.com/Article.asp?AID=618117

Three pre-teen girls vandalized a residence owned by S. Truett Cathy in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The girls caused about 30-thousand dollars in damage. Cathy -- who is very vocal about his Christian faith -- decided not to press charges…instead he has imposed a different kind of punishment. Longtime Atlanta Braves broadcaster Skip Caray passed away on Sunday. Skip Caray, the son of Harry Caray (the famous voice of the Chicago Cubs) was 68 years old.

Nobel Prize winner Alexander Solzhenitsyn has died. Solzhenitsyn came to faith in Christ during his time in a soviet labor camp (gulag) after writing letters critical of Stalin in 1945. As an author, Solzhenitsyn won the Nobel Prize for literature in 1970 for his work "The First Circle". He died at his home near Moscow on Sunday, at the age of 89.
