An automotive-parts manufacturer has pledged to bring 260 new jobs to the town of Elkin . Two state senators said they want to pay students for making good grades. Senator Fletcher Hartsell ( R ) of Cabarrus County and Senator Eric Mansfield ( D ) of Cumberland County said they want a two-year study looking at the pros and cons of using money as a learning incentive for students in our state. BTW: Baltimore, Chicago and New York City have experimented with pay-for-learning programs. Potential GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump opens up about his Christian faith on the 700 Club today. During a CBN interview, Trump said he is a Christian. Trump identified his religious affiliation as Protestant and said he has been a member of a New York City Presbyterian church. The six-minute interview clip will air nationwide today on "The 700 Club."
BTW: In other TV appearances, Trump has taken conservative positions on social issues, stating that he is against gay marriage and civil unions and is pro-life.

Thousands of Christians have fled Iraq since October 2010. ‘Open Doors’ ministry reporting that an estimated 45 to 95 thousand Christians left Iraq after a deadly attack on a Catholic church in Baghdad.
