A Flood Watch is in effect through late tonight…for Surry, Wilkes and Watauga Counties

Close to 5,000 travelers are still stranded at Denver International Airport because of a pre-winter Blizzard. The nation's fifth-busiest airport was forced to shut down to all flights on Wednesday. Flights should resume at noon today. The storm dropped up to 25 inches of snow in the Denver area and up to 3 feet in the mountains. (the conservative voice)

Authorities in High Point have charged the driver of a car that ran a stop sign and hit a day care van with one count of misdemeanor death by motor vehicle. The Wednesday crash claimed the life of an 8-year-old boy and injured eight others. (WXII)

Two former employees of the University of Texas at Arlington say they were fired after praying over another staff member's cubicle and anointing it with oil. The two women have filed a federal lawsuit alleging religious discrimination. In a statement, the University the women's accusations "a gross distortion of the truth" and says their dismissals were upheld by the Texas Workforce Commission. (AgapePress)
