Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony in Thomasville
The parade starts at 11am near the Big Chair in downtown Thomasville. Ceremony at Cushwa Stadium starts at 12:30pm. Remembering NC soldiers killed in action + see the Army’s ‘Golden Knights parachute team land in the stadium. FREE
Harrison Park in Denton.
The FREE event will start at 5 p.m. on Monday. Hot dogs, drinks and music will be available. A group of Christian cowboys and cowgirls will participate in a parade of horses. The celebration will be in memory of fallen soldiers. For more information, call Barbara Hogan at 859-4269.
