Traffic Detour: Freight train derailment in Greensboro
The intersection of west Lee Street and south Eugene Street (both directions) is blocked because of a Norfolk Southern freight train that derailed early this morning. Crews hope to have the train cleared and the track fixed sometime this afternoon. FYI: The derailment is not affecting Amtrak service through Greensboro.

Starting today, Walmart is cutting the price of the most up-to-date iPhone in half. The iPhone 3-GS with 16 gigabytes of storage space will cost $97 dollars (with a two-year contract with AT&T). It currently costs $197 dollars. Could be another sign that Apple is getting ready to unveil a new iPhone model on June 7th at its annual developer conference.

The Irish Christian band Bluetree traveled illegally into the country of Myanmar knowing full well the danger. High-ranking members of two different military units were pointing at the band, yelling in a language they didn't understand, according to lead singer Aaron Boyd. Their interpreter clammed up and the president of the NGO that had brought the band into the country said, "This is bad.
