Suspected members of the "Latin Kings" gang have been arrested in connection with a home invasion and assault. According to the Greensboro News & Record, three suspected gang members and five other people were arrested Thursday.

Officials from the Mexican consulate's North Carolina offices will be in Lexington on Saturday at Grace Episcopal Church (419 South Main Street) to provide legal Mexican immigrants with passports. More than 400 legal immigrants have signed up to meet with consulate officials. There is also a waiting list of 300.
