DAVIDSON COUNTY (Welcome area) ALL LANES BACK OPEN...
An overturned tractor trailer closed both lanes of NB 52 near Mile Marker 95 around 5am this morning. The driver of the truck lost control and flipped over. Rescue crews had to cut the driver out of the truck. (Metro Traffic / Fox 8)

The State Senate has approved a plan to allow long tractor trailers on more North Carolina roads. Both Forsyth Medical Center and Wake Forest Baptist Hospital submitted new applications Tuesday night to meet another state deadline. Both hospitals are pushing for state approval...just four miles apart from each other.

President Bush will be attending the funeral service for former White House Press Secretary Tony Snow who died of colon cancer last Saturday. Snow was 53.
Snow is survived by his wife, Jill, and their three children.
