Triple A reporting that the national average price for regular unleaded fell almost one-and-a-half cents overnight, down to about $4.02 (nationwide). In the Triad, gas prices have bottomed out at $3.75 in Winston-Salem. According to GasBuddy.com, gas prices are about ten cents a gallon cheaper in Winston-Salem than in the Greensboro area.

Officials with ‘The Fresh Market’ have decided not to sell the chain. The specialty grocery store chain based in Greensboro was looking at potential buyers. The Fresh Market chain has 80 stores in 18 states. Ray and Beverly Berry founded The Fresh Market in March 1982.
