Triple A predicts a drop in travel over Christmas and New Years. More than 3 million North Carolinians are expected to travel more than 50 miles from home this year…down nearly 5% from 2008. Have you ever been stuck on a commercial flight for hours? The Obama administration is imposing a three hour limit on commercial airliners stuck on tarmacs. The three-hour limit and other new regulations are meant to send a message to airlines not to hold passengers hostage on stuck planes. The regulations go into effect in 120 days.
