Parents will be able to find out more information about public school teachers thanks to an ethics bill signed by the Governor on Monday. One of the key provisions of the Ethics and Campaign Reform Act of 2010, which goes in effect October 1st, will provide personnel details of state workers that were not available before. Two men were shot near Groometown Road late last night following a possible ‘road rage’ incident. Officers said the two men were involved in an accident near Meadowview Road and Coliseum Blvd. in Greensboro around 10 p.m. last night. Police said the two men decided to meet near Groometown Road to discuss who would be responsible for the damages. While the men were talking, one of the men pulled out a handgun and shot the other man in the side. (Fox 8)

A federal judge overturning California’s Prop 8 saying that the measure is unConstitutional. Prop 8 was approved by California voters two years ago and defines marriage as the union of one man and one woman. Oak Hollow Mall in High Point has been sold…but to whom? CBL & Associates says it has a contract to sell Oak Hollow Mall, but hasn’t revealed who the buyer is or when the deal will be closed. The asking price was around $15 million dollars. Dillard and Sears stores were not included in the sale. Bill Cosby is ALIVE. Earlier in the week, funny man Bill Cosby was once again forced to deny he had died, after the rumor spread on the web. The 73-year-old Cosby says that the rumor has happened three times before …so far. Cosby said even his daughter had been concerned enough to check in with him. The veteran comedian took to Twitter to confirm that he was still alive.

Responding to a Freedom of Information Act request, the State Department has released passport records of Stanley Ann Dunham, President Obama's mother – but records for the years surrounding Obama's 1961 ‘birth’ are missing. Destroyed, then, would also be any records shedding light on whether Dunham did or did not travel out of the country around the time of Barack Obama's birth.
