Update: Accident involving a Davidson County school bus sends 7 people to the hospital. Six students were taken to the hospital this morning as a precaution after a school bus taking students to Reeds Elementary School was rear-ended by a Ford Explorer. The accident happened on Highway 64 at 150 in the Reeds community. The driver of the Ford Explorer was seriously injured and transported to Wake Forest - Baptist Medical Center.
Witnesses say that the bright sun may have played a factor in the accidents.

An e-mail virus hitting computers on Thursday, taking down servers at ABC, NASA and Google. The virus, called “Here You Have” or V-B Mania, is a simple Trojan Horse that arrives in your inbox as an e-mail. Once clicked, everyone in your address book becomes affected while flooding and crippling e-mail servers. Major virus monitors are currently investigating the threat.

At least one person is dead and several injured after an explosion from a ruptured gas line that rocked a neighborhood south of San Francisco last night. Firefighters still on the scene of several fires this morning. (RnR)

Beware of a new magazine scam: A Clemmons woman said she received a notice to renew her magazine through a company called Publisher's Billing Exchange. The problem is that P-B-E is charging a lot more for the subscriptions, and the magazines say they never got money from the company, said the woman (who was not named in the story from WXII).
