Deadly accidents in the Triad yesterday...One person riding a motorcycle was killed at the intersection at Baux Mountain Road and Highway 66 just before 10pm last night in Forsyth County. And, in Thomasville: Shirley Barnes was pronounced dead at the scene after her car went off the road and down an embankment on Culbreth Avenue. (http://www.journalnow.com/)

Do you hate those ‘loud’ TV commercials? Congress has passed legislation that will help protect your hearing…and sanity. Until now, the FCC did not regulate audio levels. Relief from excessive commercial noise should take effect within a year, after the FCC crafts the new regulations, and apply to all broadcast providers, including cable and satellite.
