Video-gams to soldiers

Would you like to send a ‘Video Greeting’ to a loved one serving in the military?

Select Clearwire locations in the Triad (providers of wireless High Speed internet service) will record and send holiday greetings to service men and women stationed here or overseas.

Clearwire’s ‘Video-grams for the Holidays’ is being offered through December 31st.

TO DEPLOYED MILITARY PERSONNEL BEGINNING TODAY THRU DEC. 31

WHO: Clearwire is helping local community members send messages of love to military personnel this holiday season.

WHAT: Starting Monday, and continuing throughout this holiday season, Greensboro residents can stop by select Clearwire locations in the Triad to record and send holiday greetings to troops stationed here at home and overseas as part of Clearwire’s “Videograms for the Holidays” event.

WHEN: Now through December 31...during regular store hours

Clearwire staff will be on hand to help capture and send video greetings during regular store hours. The sender does not need a personal email address to send messages, but they must supply the email address of the greeting’s recipient. After recording the video message, it will be sent immediately, using Clearwire’s high-speed wireless Internet service.

Moms can send video of their newborn babies or growing children to dads who may be stationed overseas; residents can send messages of hope to friends or relatives serving in the military here or abroad.
