Johnson and Johnson, the maker of Listerine, is recalling 4 million bottles of the recently launched Listerine Agent Cool Blue plaque-detecting mouth rinse
marketed to kids. The recall affects Glacier Mint and Bubble Blast flavors.

No more ‘board of education’? A House committee in Raleigh has approved a bill that would ban corporal punishment in public schools across the state.
The measure heads to another committee before it reaches the full House.
Sponsors said other, more effective ways exist to discipline children in class.

MS-NBC has canceled the cable simulcast of the "Imus in the Morning" radio show. The decision comes after remarks deemed racist and sexist that radio talk-show host Don Imus made last week about the Rutgers University women's basketball team.
At least eight companies have pulled their ads from the show, including Staples, General Motors, Sprint Nextel, GlaxoSmithKline, Procter & Gamble, PetMed Express, American Express and Bigelow Tea.
CBS radio has put Don Imus on a two week suspension.

All charges dismissed: The three Duke lacrosse players once charged with kidnapping and sexual assault have been cleared of all charges. North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper making the announcement that there was "insufficient evidence" to move forward with the case.

U.S. Soldiers will stay longer in Iraq and Afghanistan:
