Freeze Watches and Warnings have been posted late tonight through Friday morning.

Firefighters say that a brush fire that started yesterday afternoon near Traphill Road at Stone Mountain State Park is over 80% contained. The fire burnt close to 130 acres.
Low humidity and breezy conditions will increase the risk of wild fires across the state. The National Weather Service suggesting that NO ‘burning’ should be attempted today.

A mock ‘Terror Drill’ at one New Jersey school district portrays Christians as Terror threat:
Schools officials in Burlington, New Jersey along with local law enforcement staged a mock ‘hostage situation’ drill last week portrayed the attackers as ‘conservative Christians.’ In the drill, one of the mock attackers was upset that his daughter was expelled for praying before class. School superintendent Chris Manno praised the exercise…saying that “you perform as you practice. We need to ‘practice’ under conditions as real as possible.”

Safe at home: A warm homecoming for the 15 British military sailors held hostage in Iran for nearly two weeks. Their plane arrived in London earlier this morning. Before their release, the UK sailors and marines shook hands and made small talk with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in front of TV cameras. They thanked him for pardoning them. Film director Bob Clark, best known for the holiday classic
"A Christmas Story," was killed along with his son yesterday in a head-on crash when a drunk driver steered into the wrong lane. Clark was 67.
