The Alamance-Burlington School Board has voted to ban corporal punishment in all of its schools. The board said schools can still use reasonable force to remove or control behavior if needed. Alamance-Burlington School Superintendent Dr. Randy Bridges supports the ban, citing legal liabilities the school system could face. (Fox8)

A GROUP OF BOY SCOUTS MADE IT BACK TO CIVILAZATION YESTERDAY MORNING. Eight boys and their scout leaders became lost on Sunday after a weekend camping trip in the North Carolina Mountains. The Scouts decided to camp overnight.

PRESIDENT BUSH AND THE PRESIDENT OF IRAN will address the
United Nations today. Iran’s leader spoke at New York’s Columbia University on Monday.
During a Q and A session, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (Ah-ma-den-a-jad) had some controversial things to say about the Nazi Holocaust and 9-11.

You are three times more likely to be injured riding a horse than riding a motorcycle. According to a University of Calgary study…horseback riding is more dangerous than riding a motorcycle, playing football or skiing.
