Noon…Commemoration Benton Convention Center (Winston-Salem)
Henry J. Pankey is the guest speaker

Actor LeVar Burton (host of the PBS show “Reading Rainbow) will speak at Wait Chapel on the campus of Wake Forest University at 7pm. The event is sponsored by Wake Forest and Winston-Salem State University. The gospel choirs of Wake Forest and Winston-Salem State gospel choirs will perform. Free and open to the public.

Peace March (3:30pm) in Greensboro
Starts at the statue on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and ends at Greensboro College's Hannah Brown Finch Memorial Chapel

Program features dance, music & theatre inspired by Dr. King's legacy

Performance includes screening of the "I Have a Dream" speech
