Guilford County Schools: Busses were put into a holding pattern at 8:30am this morning.
From their website:
Due to unforeseen changes with the weather that have negatively impacted road conditions, buses have been instructed to hold at a safe location until further notice. Buses will be released as soon as temperatures rise and road conditions improve – no later than 10 a.m.
Buses will run their engines to maintain heat while being held.
-School is not delayed.
-End-of-Course exams have been postponed.

NEARLY THREE HUNRED PEOPLE IN SOUTHERN SUDAN RECENTLY HAD THEIR SIGHT RESTORED THANKS TO THE MEDICAL WORK OF TWO CHRISTIAN MISSIONARY ORGANIZATIONS. Mission Aviation Fellowship flew a team from Christian Blind Mission into the southern portion of Sudan. Christian Today-dot-com reports that, in all, the team examined about six hundred patients during their stay in the region. Half of those patients were suffering from what is known as river blindness. The medical team operated on some of the patients and administered medicine to others.

Talking on a cell phone before bedtime may disrupt your sleep.
New study: found that radiation from a cell phone can cause insomnia, headaches and confusion and may reduce the amount of deep sleep, thus interfering with the body's ability to refresh itself. The study funded by the cell phone industry conducted by researchers from Wayne State University in Detroit and an Institute in Sweden.
