Paul Simos, always known for his friendliness (and good barbecue), passed away on Father’s Day. Paul was 78. Simos Barbecue was a WS institution from 1939 to 2003. The funeral will be today at 2pm at the Greek Orthodox Church in WS. (journalnow.com)
TERRE HAUTE, Indiana
A girl whose lemonade stand was robbed of $17.50 ended up chasing the thief into a nearby home. 12-year-old Dominique Morefield said that "The guy came up and was, like, 'Give me your money.'" Dominique was running the lemonade stand with a group of friends. "I was shocked. It was just my immediate reaction to chase after him."
Dominique called police who spent nearly an hour trying to coax the man into surrendering.
