Tropical storm Hanna could become a category one Hurricane before making landfall around 2am Saturday morning near the North Carolina – South Carolina border.
Tropical storm watches or warnings have been issued from Georgia to areas just south of New York City. Governor Mike Easley declaring a state of emergency for our state. Hanna at this point will impact the Eastern portions of North Carolina (mainly east of I-95). Hurricane Ike is getting stronger…now a category 4 storm. Tropical Storm Josephine is still out in the eastern Atlantic.

Haiti's government says the death toll from Tropical Storm Hanna has more than doubled to 137. Officials are attempting to get food and water to residents who are stranded.
