Have you mailed all of your Christmas cards, yet? According to the U.S. Postal Service, today will be the busiest mailing day of the year. Officials expect to process more than 900 million cards and letters today…about double the normal amount. The Christmas deadline is coming quickly.

Six Winston-Salem/Forsyth County school buses were damaged over the weekend at Griffith Elementary school on West Clemmonsville Road. Vandals knocked out several windows. In his first television appearance, former Republican presidential candidate Senator John McCain was asked (during ABC's "This Week), whether his VP pick Sarah Palin could count on his support if she ran for president in 2012. Well it wasn’t a definite YES. McCain said that other young governors will likely assume a greater leadership role in the Republican Party.
