An 18-year-old who lost her unborn child when her car collided with MercyMe’s tour bus has died from her injuries. Police in Fort Wayne, Ind., say Kara Klinker, who had been in critical condition since the crash early Saturday, died on Tuesday. Klinker was 35 weeks pregnant.
Two other teenagers in her car died of injuries at the scene of the crash. Expect a new CD project from Steven Curtis Chapman called "Beauty Will Rise" set to come out on November third. It's Steven’s first new album since the death of his five-year old daughter (Maria Sue) back in May of 2008. The songs featured on the CD reflect the spiritual journey that Steven has been on since the tragedy. The first single will be "Heaven Is The Face".

Guitar innovator Les Paul died Thursday due to complications of pneumonia. He was 94.
Les Paul developed the ‘solid body’ electric guitar back in the 40’s. Gibson finally took a chance on Les Paul’s design and the rest is history. A solid-body guitar was considered silly before the early 1960s. It really wasn't until 1965 that the guitar took off and became popular.

DEFENSE SECRETARY ROBERT GATES SAYS HE MIGHT BE OPEN TO SENDING MORE TROOPS TO AFGHANISTAN. No decision is expected until after next week’s Presidential elections in Afghanistan.

The FAA has suspended two air traffic controllers in connection with the mid-air collision of a sight seeing helicopter and a private plane over the Hudson that killed nine people last Saturday's. The FAA says the controller following the private plane was on the phone at the time of the crash and the supervisor was not in the building.

Olympic gold medal swimmer Michael Phelps was involved in a traffic accident in Baltimore last night. Police said Phelps wasn't hurt in the accident.

SPORTS: THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES HAVE SIGNED MICHAEL VICK TO A ONE-YEAR DEAL. Vick was re-instated to the NFL last month after serving 21 months for a conviction related to operating a dog-fighting ring.
