Well, all those science text books will need some editing! Our solar system has been downsized from 9 planets to 8.
The International Astronomical Union meeting in Prague this past week has voted…and Pluto (our 9th planet since 1930) is no longer a planet. Under the new guidelines, Pluto is not big enough or strong enough to be considered a planet. (AP / WSJOURNAL)

The ACLU is trying to restrict the Gideons organization from handing out Bibles to fifth-graders at an elementary school in Missouri.
For years the School District in Annapolis, Missouri, has permitted various groups such as the Red Cross, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and yes the Gideons to have access to the students during classroom time. The FDA saying that women 18 and older can now buy the Plan-B pill without a prescription. Concerned Women for America (CWA) strongly opposes today’s decision by the FDA to approve Plan B, the morning-after pill, as a non-prescription drug…saying that the government has overstepped its authority in this decision .
