Southwest Airlines is expected to cancel about 100 flights after a hole ‘opened up’ on top of a Southwest Boeing 737 during mid-flight last Friday. Southwest cancelled approximately 600 flights over the weekend for inspections. The co-founder of Bojangles' has died. Jack Fulk died last week after a long illness. Fulk was 78-year-old. He opened the first Bojangles' in Charlotte with a business partner in 1977. The chain (known for its spicy Cajun fried chicken and biscuits) now has about 500 locations in 11 Southern states.



(Tucson, Arizona) Two children were seriously injured after a bounce house they were playing in was blown into the middle of a roadway. The incident happened on Saturday. A 60 mph gust of wind blew the bounce house across three lanes of traffic and into a median. A little boy and girl who are expected to recover.

Daric Beiter, a well respected teacher at Davie County High School, passed away suddenly Friday morning…on his 37th birthday. The Winston-Salem Journal reporting that Beiter had received a pace maker about a year and a half ago. Beiter taught history and was the track and cross country coach at Davie High…and was Teacher of the Year at Davie High during the 2009-'10 school year. Hundreds of students gathered Friday afternoon at the football stadium for a memorial to honor Beiter. A funeral service was held yesterday at Hillsdale United Methodist Church.  http://www.journalnow.com/
