How would you like to see the first document to use the word “America” or the rough draft of the Declaration of Independence or the original 1962 drawings for the comic book that introduced Spider-Man to the world?  The Mobile Library of Congress will be on display in Lexington this Tuesday and Wednesday (May 3 and 4) from 10-6pm daily at the Davidson County Government Center upper parking lot (915 Greensboro Street in Lexington). The inter-active exhibit is FREE and open to the public.

Job Alert: The Greensboro Aquatic Center is in need of more than 100 part-time employees. A job fair will take place this Thursday, May 5 from 4 –til- 7pm at the Greensboro Coliseum's terrace on West Lee Street.  Positions needed include: lifeguards, water safety instructors, water technician, exercise and rehabilitation instructors and admission clerks.  Employees will start work at the aquatic center around July 18. Northern Davidson County (Arcadia community) Road closed.  Enterprise Road at Deerfield Court will be closed for the next several weeks because of road construction. (Crews are replacing a pipe). FYI: The road closure is closer to the Highway 150 side of Enterprise Road and will remain closed until (Friday) May 13th . Detour signs have been posted.
