One of the proposed changes to hunting and fishing regulations in our state is a plan to allow bow hunting inside city limits for towns and urban centers that have an over-population of deer. If the proposal passes, the state's Wildlife Commission would set up a five-week season to local towns open only to bow hunters shortly after the Jan. 1st end of the regular hunting season. http://www.wxii12.com/news/10864874/detail.html

Remember ‘silent lunch’?
One catholic school in Rhode Island is now enforcing ‘no talking at lunch’ after 3 separate choking incidents that happened recently at the school.
The principal of St Rose of Lima School explained in a letter to parents last week that the lunchroom is too loud and that staff members cannot hear a child choking. Any child who breaks the rules will serve detention the next day.
Good news for the kids…the silent lunch is a temporary safety measure.
