FREE Breakfast Friday all month of March at Chick-Fil-A restaurants in the Triad

Leaders in Congress honoring U.S. troops who have served in Iraq and elsewhere around the world during a bi-partisan ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda yesterday. The event marked the upcoming fifth anniversary of the War in Iraq.

First lady Laura Bush toured Haiti's capital on yesterday to promote funding for AIDS patients and support education in Haiti. A Senate committee has approved legislation that would triple funding to fight AIDS and other diseases in Africa and nations like Haiti.

Some of the passenger planes that Southwest Airlines grounded for inspection earlier this week have major problems. Four of the planes had cracks in their fuselages. A spokesperson for Southwest said that the planes were expected to be ready to fly again by this weekend.

Open Doors Ministry reporting that Christians in North Korea are in need of prayer. The estimated number of underground Christians in North Korea is said to be at least 200,000. It is strictly forbidden to be a Christian in North Korea. Anyone who is caught with a Bible is sent to a prison camp along with his or her entire family.
