Record snowfall for parts of Ohio over the weekend. An average of 16 to 18 inches of snow fell in the Cleveland area. It was the biggest snowfall of the season for the region.

Federal investigators are still investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed the Salisbury Millwork on Friday. Two firefighters with the Salisbury Fire Department died while battling the blaze.The fallen firefighters were taken from Rowan Regional Medical Center to Carolinas Medical Center for autopsies. Fire and emergency equipment from local departments between Salisbury and Charlotte manned every overpass along Interstate 85 during the trip.

Hundreds of mourners celebrated the life of Eve Carson yesterday at Athens First UMC. Carson was murdered last Wednesday in a neighborhood about a mile from the Chapel Hill campus. Police are now looking for a second suspect in the case. www.unc.edu/

DOT officials will be on hand at an informational meeting later today about the plans to re-work Highway 52 through downtown Winston-Salem. An open house will be from 4:30 to 6:30pm…with the hearing starting at 7pm in the auditorium of the Kennedy Learning Center at 1000 N. Highland Ave. in Winston-Salem.

Forsyth county residents may see an increase in their monthly garbage collection because of rising fuel costs. Forsyth County Commissioners will consider the new pricing at their meeting tonight at 7:30pm.

NASA saying that weather looks good for the Tuesday morning launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour. The launch is set of around 2:30am Tuesday.

One school district in Texas will be able to continue offering Bible courses.
The Ector County Independent School District was sued by the ACLU last May for offering two high school courses on the history and literature of the Bible.
