Funeral arrangements have been finalized for two Salisbury firefighters who were killed in the line of duty last Friday. Justin Monroe (19) and Victor Isler (40) died Friday fighting a five-alarm fire at a Salisbury woodworking company. The firefighter’s bodies were taken to Charlotte for an autopsy.
Visitation for Victor Isler will be Wednesday from 1 to- 4pm at
Lyerly Funeral Home in Salisbury. Isler will be returned to New York for Burial.
Visitation for Justin Monroe will be Wednesday from 6 to 9pm at the Miller Ferry Volunteer Fire Department.

Actor / comedian Billy Crystal will ‘look marvelous’ in Yankee pinstripes on Thursday. Billy Crystal has signed a one day contract with the New York Yankees. Crystal will ‘work out’ with the Yankees at Legends Field on Wednesday and YES suit up during a Spring Training game against the Pirates on Thursday.
