Greensboro city officials are relaxing water restrictions…a little.
If you live in Greensboro: you can now use lawn sprinklers one day a week

Someone vandalized a fleet of school buses parked at North Forsyth High School last night. Winston-Salem police saying that 27 buses had been spray-painted and that windows had been knocked out as well. Eight vehicles at British Square Apartments off Shattalon Drive (located near North Forsyth) had been vandalized an hour before the call to North Forsyth. A Thomasville mom has been charged with felony first-degree child cruelty in the death of her 11 year old daughter. Police said that Nancy Kasera (of Thomasville) called 911 from a travel center in LaGrange, Georgia on Sunday reporting that her daughter wasn't breathing.
An autopsy conducted Monday concluded the girl had multiple head wounds, which contributed to her death. The autopsy also confirmed the child had been dead about 12-24 hours before Kasera called 911. www.wxii12.com/news/15567772/detail.html

A new report from the Centers of Disease Control suggesting that one in four teenage girls nationwide is infected with at least one STD. The study based on data from more than 800 girls who participated in a 2003-2004 government health survey. www.wxii12.com/health/15566250/detail.html

Separate visitations will be held today for Victor Isler and Justin Monroe (the two fallen firefighters in Salisbury) who were killed while battling a fire last Friday.
Visitation for Victor Isler will be held from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday at Lyerly's Funeral Home at 515 South Main Street. Visitation for Justin Monroe will take place at Miller's Ferry Fire Department at 2650 Long Ferry Road from 6-9 p.m.
A ‘combined’ memorial service for Isler and Monroe will be held on Thursday at Catawba College…beginning at 2pm. FOX 8

The US State Department has released its annual report on Human Rights. Countries that are the worst violators of human rights include China, North Korea, Burma, Iran, Syria, Cuba and Sudan. Many of the countries on the list are notorious for their persecution of Christians.

Perception is that we do not get enough sleep because we are just too busy and have too many distractions. Research showing that most people in the US are not as sleep-deprived as we think we are? On average, Americans got 59 hours of sleep a week in 2005…that is three more hours of sleep a week than in 2000. The latest findings on government data, from the University of Maryland, out today.
