FILINGS FOR HOME FORECLOSURES IN THE US ROSE 70% FROM THE THIRD QUARTER OF LAST YEAR TO THE THIRD QUARTER OF THIS YEAR. Since August 2007, nearly 850,000 homes have been re-possessed by lenders.

Wachovia Bank Corporation posting its largest quarterly loss yesterday. Actually, the $24 billion dollar loss is the largest quarterly loss ever for a US retail bank. The third quarter posting is likely Wachovia’s final financial report before the possible acquisition by Wells Fargo.

Mission Aviation Fellowship is hoping for the best. Helicopters and boats are still searching for a MAF pilot and plane off the coast of Australia. The pilot did not file any type of mayday signal.

The Coast Guard is investigating the circumstances regarding missing crew members from a fishing boat in Alaskan waters. 13 crewmembers were on the vessel…six have been found alive…two remain missing.

More than 16,000 people made decisions for Christ as a result of a three city Harvest Crusade with Greg Laurie. The first of the crusades came just about three weeks after Laurie's 33-year old son, Christopher, was killed in a car accident last August.

AN ATHEIST GROUP IN ENGLAND IS BUYING ADS TO PLACE IN AND ON LONDON BUSES THAT READ, "THERE'S PROBABLY NO GOD". Christian Post.com saying that the ads are being bought by the British Humanist Association.
