The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the following counties… Davidson, Davie, Surry, Yadkin and Rowan counties

(Breaking News) An Ethiopian Airliner crashed into the Mediterranean Sea shortly after take-off from Beirut this morning. 23 bodies have already been pulled from the sea, but no survivors have been found. Severe weather is hampering the search efforts.

At least 150,000 victims have been buried in mass graves in Haiti. Peacekeepers continue to hand out food and water to survivors.

Sam's Club is cutting roughly 10,000 jobs (mostly part timers) in the company's product-sampling department. A third-party marketing company, Shopper Events, will run Sam’s Club's product demonstration operations…and is expected to hire "roughly the same number of people."

Police said a pilot crashed a small ultra-light aircraft behind his home along Graves Mill Road in Kernersville just before 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon. The pilot was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of broken bones. The FAA is looking into the cause of the crash.

Long time WGHP weatherman Frank Deal, passed away Sunday morning. Frank Deal was 84 years old. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Here's a new warning from health experts: Sitting could be deadly.
Scientists are increasingly warning that sitting for prolonged periods - even if you also exercise regularly - could be bad for your health. And it doesn't matter where the sitting takes place - at the office, at school, in the car or before a computer or TV - just the overall number of hours it occurs. Research is preliminary, but several studies suggest people who spend most of their days sitting are more likely to be fat, have a heart attack or even die.
