Snow flurries still in the forecast for the Triad for late Thursday into Thursday night
Broken water mains are causing major problems in several Triad cities this morning. The water has frozen on the roadways where the water main breaks have occured.
Winston-Salem: NB Silas Creek Parkway at Robinhood Road is shut down.
Kernersville: Work crews on the scene…Oak Grove Church Road between Glenn High and Kernersville Road
High Point: Centennial at Greensboro Street
Greensboro: A major water main break near the intersection of Cone Blvd. and North Church St., causing some icing. Traffic has been re-route at several intersections: Elm and Cone, Church and Henry, Church and 16th and Cone and Yanceyville.
Greensboro: A second water main break at the intersection
of East Wendover Avenue and Huffman Street. Also affected…the on and off ramps to U.S. 29.

Another casualty of the down economy: Quest Coffee in Advance closed on Monday of this week. Patrick Sawtelle stating that the closing is due to financial issues. Although the Advance location has closed, the Quest Coffee location in Mocksville (at the DCCC satellite campus) will remain open. You can still use your Quest Gift cards at the Mocksville location.

Good News: Guilford County Sheriff's Deputies have ended their search for a Julian couple reported missing on Tuesday. Deputies say Robert Lewis and Michelle Elizabeth Catling never made it to work yesterday morning. They were reported missing after the couple's children returned home from school and couldn't find them. Deputies say the couple had car trouble.
