Long-term mortgage rates fell again last week. Both 30- and 15-year fixed-rate mortgages at their lowest levels. The average rate on a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage in the week ending July 22 was 4.56%. That’s the lowest level since 1971. Kaye Cowher, the wife of former Steeler’s football coach Bill Cowher, died of skin cancer on Friday. Kaye was 54 years old. Kate Cowher is survived by her husband and three daughters. Kaye was a former basketball player at North Carolina State. A private funeral service will be held Monday in North Carolina. Could BP’s CEO be on the way out?? BP Execs saying that "no final decision" has been made about possible management changes, which apparently includes reports over the weekend that CEO Tony Hayward is on the way out. A Board of Director’s meeting is scheduled this morning.

More than 70,000 children and teens go to the emergency room each year for injuries and complications from medical devices…and contact lenses are the leading culprit. About one-fourth of the problems were things like infections and eye abrasions in contact lens wearers. NASCAR: Jamie McMurray winning at the Brickyard on Sunday

Pro golfer Carl Peterson winning the Canadian Open on Sunday. Peterson has ties to the Triad…He went to high School at Grimsley and college at NC State. This is Peterson’s first PGA victory since winning the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro back in 2008.
The 2010 Wyndham Championship will be at Sedgefield CC August 19 – 22, 2010.
