The 4-year-old Missouri girl that was abducted from her front yard Monday evening has been found alive. 4 year old, Alisa Maier, was discovered 85 miles away from her home…walking at a car wash around 11:15pm last night. It may soon cost you 2 cents more to mail your letters and cards. The postal service wants to increase the price of a First Class stamp to 46 cents. If approved the increase would take affect next January.

The US Justice Department has filing a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Arizona's new law targeting illegal immigrants. Attorney General Eric Holder saying that setting immigration policy and enforcing immigration laws is a national responsibility. Crews are still searching for a plane that made an emergency landing on Lake Norman in Iredell County last night. The pilot, who was flying from Greensboro to Lake Norman, reported engine problems before it crashed into the lake off Morrison Farm Road. The Yadkin River bridge project gets the green light. Construction on the I-85/Yadkin River bridge project will begin this October with completion set for January 2013, about eight months earlier than anticipated.

Oil from the ruptured BP well in the Gulf of Mexico is seeping into Lake Pontchartrain north of New Orleans. Back in 2005, Hurricane Katrina knocked out seafood docks and lakeside restaurants in 2005.
