An overturned tractor trailer has shutdown Highway 64 at the Business 85 loop in Lexington. The accident has closed the westbound lanes of Highway 64 and the southbound lanes of the Business 85 Loop.  The roads are NOT expected to re-open until noon.


DURING A PRIMETIME SPEECH LASTNIGHT, PRESIDENT OBAMA ANNOUNCING THAT THE WITHDRAWAL OF U.S TROOPS FROM AFGHANISTAN WILL BEGIN NEXT MONTH. Ten thousand American troops will be home by the end of the year, With all American troops out of Afghanistan by 2014.   RnR


Park in a fire lane in Greensboro starting July 1st and your fine will double. The fine increase (from $25 to $50 dollars) will allow the state's collection agency to put a lien on a vehicle if it goes unpaid. Fox 8 reporting that a lien keeps a car from being registered at the DMV unless a debt is paid off.


You may remember us talking about Bell Brothers Cafeteria, a popular cafeteria style eatery in Winston-Salem, closed about a year ago. Good News: The owners of Bell Brothers are planning on re-opening under a new name and at a new location. The new restaurant, named Bell's Old Richmond Grill, is set to open in July on Reynolda Road in Pfafftown. The owners of the Old Richmond Grill are retiring.  According WXII, Old Richmond Grill first opened in 1955 as a drive-in.  Wayne Bell's father and uncle opened Bell Brothers Cafeteria 48 years ago on Chatham Road in Winston-Salem.

Harold Camping, known for his failed ‘end of the world’ prediction on May 21st, has been moved to a nursing facility after a stroke earlier this month.  According to his ministry’s website, Camping, who is 89 years-old, is "undergoing rehabilitation to regain his strength".

The stories that inspired Matthew West’s latest CD project are now being put into a book. "The Story of Your Life: Inspiring Stories of God at Work in People Just Like You" was co-written with best-selling author Angela Thomas. It's set to be released this September.  Matthew will also be releasing his first, full-length Christmas album, "The Heart of Christmas", this October.


A Reidsville couple said their glass patio table exploded without warning on Tuesday. Carlton and Debra Vaughn said their table, which they bought from Kmart, ‘exploded’ while their grandchildren were over for a swim at their home. Fox 8 reporting that the Vaughns said they heard a ‘pop’ and thought somebody was shooting a gun. After the ‘pop’ the couple saw that there was glass everywhere…glass over toward the diving board and back toward the steps. The couple had bought the table a few months ago and set it up recently after getting a new pool. FYI: Consumeraffairs.com lists hundreds of complaints with exploding glass tabletops since 2005.


A BISHOP IN THE AFRICAN NATION OF SUDAN IS CALLING FOR WORLDWIDE PRAYER AHEAD OF SOUTH SUDAN'S INDEPENDENCE NEXT MONTH. On July 9th, South Sudan becomes an independent nation. The bishop has expressed concern for those Christians in North Sudan that will likely be governed by Islamic Sharia law after July 9th.
