A new state law will ban teens under the age of 18 from using cell phones while driving. If caught using a phone, drivers could face $25 fines, court costs and a possible extension of the drivers' graduated driving period. -Police said if they see a teen driving in any parking lot and using a phone, they will pull the driver over and issue a ticket. The total cost of the fines and court costs totals about $135. -The new law includes gaming, e-mailing and text messaging which is very popular among teens.-The only calls that are allowed are emergency calls and calls to a parent or guardian.
