Driving could be difficult today…especially for high profile vehicles.

Officials with the North Carolina Turnpike Authority will study whether to incorporate tolls on Interstate 85 to pay for a new Yadkin River bridge.
A new bridge will cost over $200 million dollars to replace. The current bridge that connects Rowan and Davidson counties is just two lanes in each direction and in need of up-grading.
The authority's executive director said a study would determine whether a toll bridge is feasible, based on traffic and cost. http://www.journalnow.com/

Minor injuries reported after a daycare van and another vehicle collided yesterday at the intersection of Westwood Avenue and Council Drive in High Point. Three children and one adult were taken to the hospital.

President Bush making a stop in North Carolina today. The President will visit a biotech plant in Franklinton. Franklinton is about 25 miles north of Raleigh. The President will speak about his energy initiatives to reduce gasoline use by 20% in the next 10 years. Bush's Recent N.C. Visits

How much caffeine is in your soda?
-A New York City lawmaker plans to introduce a resolution calling on the federal government to require that all food and beverages contain labels revealing caffeine content.
Starting in May, the Coca-Cola Company will start listing the caffeine content
on cans of its Classic Coke…then listing the Caffeine content of its other brands by the end of the year.
A 12 oz bottle of Classic Coke has 34mg of caffeine.
Regular (8oz) cup of coffee…135 mg of caffeine

People 65 years of age and older who drink a moderate amount of caffeinated beverages on a regular basis have a lower risk of death from heart disease. Drinking caffeinated beverages may induce a "healthy" rise in blood pressure that counteracts the drop in blood pressure that occurs after a meal, a phenomenon that becomes more pronounced as people age.
