Gas prices up nearly 4 cents a gallon, nationwide in the past three weeks. The reason: the price of crude oil has gone up. The national average for self-serve regular was $2.22 per gallon.

Redfield, New York typically receives 22 feet of snow annually. Redfield (population 650) has received more than 11 feet of snow in just 9 days. Up to 20 percent of women who develop lung cancer have never smoked compared to 8 percent of men. Researchers suggest secondhand smoke may be to blame.The survey included close to a million people in the US and Sweden. The Barbie doll was invented in 1959 by Ruth Handler (co-founder of Mattel), whose own daughter was called Barbara. Barbie was introduced to the world at the American Toy Fair in New York City.
