High Wind Warning for the Northern Mountains…until noon
Sustained winds between 25 and 35 mph, with gusts up to 60 mph will continue this morning especially across the higher elevations.

Attorneys for Darryl Hunt said yesterday that they would not file a Civil Rights lawsuit against the city of Winston-Salem for Hunt's wrongful imprisonment in the Deborah Sykes case from 1984. Mayor Allen Joines suggesting that a settlement agreement could be announced at the next meeting of the Winston-Salem City Council on Feb. 19. (journalnow.com)

Space Shuttle Astronaut Lisa Nowak is free on bond and in seclusion after appearing in court on Tuesday to face charges including attempted murder.
The Navy Captain drove from Houston to Orlando to confront the girlfriend of a fellow male astronaut. Nowak has three children and recently separated from her husband.
-NASA has put Nowak on 30-day suspension and has been removed from all shuttle mission-related activities.-Nowak made her first trip into space in July to the International Space Station aboard shuttle. http://www.usaradio.com/news_details.php?catid=0&storyid=1007

20 computers were stolen from a classroom POD at Sedge Garden Elementary school in Winston-Salem. The theft happened sometime between January 31st and February 2nd. Anyone with information is urged to contact the WS CrimeStoppers at 727-2800.

One baby food meal being recalled: Packages of "Gerber GRADUATES FOR TODDLERS Pasta entrĂ©es are under a voluntary recall because of a labeling mistake. Athens, OH -- An Ohio woman was not arrested after ‘borrowing a car that looked just like hers.’ The woman used her daughter's car key to unlock and drive a car that turned out to belong to someone else.The woman didn't realize it was the wrong gray Toyota Camry until her daughter saw the car the next day. Toyota says back in the 1980s there were only so many ways to cut a key, making such a mix-up possible. Now keys have microchips that ensure the correct key is needed to start a car.
