Veterans Day Parades
Saturday (Nov 10)
-Winston-Salem: Parade...10am at the intersection of Fourth and Spring streets.
Memorial service @11am American Legion Post 55 at 111 Miller Street.
-Lexington: Main Street @ 11am. The parade will start at Lexington Senior High School and
end at the National Guard Armory on West Ninth Avenue.
Sunday (Nov 11 )
-High Point: Main Street @ 3pm
Veterans Day Reception in Martinsville
(Sat) November 10 11 AM – 2 PM
Piedmont Arts will host a with light refreshments in honor of our local veterans on Saturday, November 10, from 11 AM until 2 PM. Tours of A Soldier's Life, featuring the Charles J. Brown collection of 7,000 miniature military figurines, will be offered at 11 AM and 1 PM. The exhibition includes figures from the ancient civilizations through WWI.
All veterans and their families are invited to attend.
