THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER HAS IDENTIFIED THE FIRST TROPICAL DEPRESSION OF THE ATLANTIC HURRICANE SEASON WHICH OFFICIALLY BEGINS MONDAY, JUNE 1st. Forecasters expect that Tropical Depression ONE, located about 260 miles southeast of Nantucket, Massachusetts, will dissipate by Saturday and never pose any threat to land.
