Charges against Shirley Dobson in a lawsuit challenging the National Day of Prayer have been dropped. The lawsuit filed by the Freedom From Religion Foundation back in 2008 argued that the Constitution was “written to be a godless document” and maintains that government-issued proclamations encouraging citizens to pray are unconstitutional. ADF attorneys represented Dobson.
