Rick Warren, senior pastor of Saddleback Church in Southern California, tweeting followers that the Jonas Brothers (among others) will perform during the megachurch’s Easter service and 30th anniversary celebration. The Saddleback church has rented the Angel Stadium in Anaheim for the special ‘service’. Saddleback Church was founded by Rick and Kay Warren 30 years ago. The first service was attended by 205 people, but today the church has more than 22,000 members.

Accident kills two Lexington men on Sunday.
Troopers say that the driver Brandon Rush, 22, and his half-brother and passenger Darrell Everhart, Jr. 28, were traveling on Odell Owen Road west of Lexington about 4:15 a.m. Sunday morning when their car went out of control, hit a guardrail, struck several trees and crashed into a ravine. Both men were thrown from the car and died at the scene. Neither was wearing a seatbelt.

Officials in Chile have begun a 3-day period of National Mourning to remember the lives lost in the deadly 8.8 magnitude quake that shook Chile 9 days ago. Officials are still struggling to establish an accurate death toll.

Votes are being counted today after millions of Iraqis braved threats of insurgent violence to go to the polls on Sunday. Iraqi officials estimate the turnout in Sunday's vote at between 55 and 60 percent. This is only the second national election since American troops led the invasion of Iraq in 2003, and the first in which Iraqi security has taken the lead.

Here's one grandmother who makes time for her grandson. Michelle Cuestas of Green Bay, Wisconsin used two vacation days and camped out for 43 hours to make sure her grandson would be first in line for the 2010 opening of a Stevens Point ice-cream landmark.
