The Bright Leaf Drive-in on Andy Griffith Parkway in Mt Airy is no longer in business. According to their website, the closing was a surprise to them as well. Jason with the Bright Leaf Drive In commented that they leased the land where the drive in was located. Their lease was up this month and the owner did not wish to renew it. Looks like the land is going to be sold = no more drive in. Everything is For Sale…from the grill equipment, freezers, furniture. They are selling it all!!
