Update: NASA has postponed the launch of Space Shuttle Discovery until the end of the month. The new launch date: November 30th. NASA scrubbed Friday’s planned launch because of a hydrogen leak.

Being asleep at the wheel is unfortunately a ‘common occurrence’ for many. According to a new study from Triple A, almost half of all drivers admit to falling asleep while behind the wheel sometime in the past. One-in-ten drivers say they have fallen asleep at the wheel within the past 12 months. Government stats indicate that one in six (or 16.5%) of all deadly crashes in the US…involved a drowsy driver. One in eight crashes in the US send someone in the accident to the hospital. (RnR)

A church leader in London is calling on Christians in Iraq to flee that country. According to BBC News, the archbishop of an Orthodox Church in London issued the statement yesterday, one week after a deadly attack on a Catholic church in Baghdad…that claimed the lives of 50 people and left 75 others wounded. The Commission formed to investigate last April’s deadly Gulf Oil spill will share its preliminary findings today. The National Oil Spill Commission’s primary focus will be on the cause of the BP Oil rig explosion that claimed the lives of eleven workers and led to the worst oil spill in U.S. history. (Fox news)

The President continuing his trip to Asia. The President is still getting bombarded with questions from foreign reporters about the recent mid-term elections. Wrapping up a stop in India, the President will travel to Indonesia, South Korea and then Japan. RnR

THE VOLCANO THAT BEGAN ERUPTING IN INDONESIA LATE LAST MONTH CONTINUES TO POSE A SERIOUS THREAT TO LOCAL RESIDENTS. Experts say it's difficult to predict when the eruptions will stop because the volcano is still holding a huge amount of energy. The death toll from the volcano has risen to at least 132. (CNN)

Conan O’Brien returns to late night TV tonight. Conan’s new late show will air at 11pm on TBS…starting 30 minutes ahead of Leno and Letterman.

Evangelist Billy Graham celebrated his 92nd birthday on Sunday (Nov 7th). Dr Graham reflecting on his ministry and looking to the future says, "I am amazed every time I think of how many years the Lord has given me on this earth. I am grateful for His blessing on our ministry for more than 60 years, but [I] wonder if there is something more He has for me to accomplish."
FYI: In addition to working on a book project about the aging process, Dr Graham hopes to publicly ‘preach’ one more time. (RnR)

NASCAR: Denny Hamlin winning at Texas Motor Speedway. Hamlin also leads in the points with 2 races left in the Chase to the Championship.

Congrats to the Lady Deacs. Wake Forest winning their first ACC Women’s soccer title.

Edison Pena, one of the 33 men trapped in that Chilean mine…ran, walked and hobbled his way to the finish line of the New York City Marathon yesterday. Pena, nick named ‘the runner’ crossed the finish line in Central Park with a time of 5 hours, 40 minutes and 51 seconds. The 34-year-old survivor beat his own goal - to complete the course through the city's five boroughs in six hours. Pena was photographed…draped in a Chilean flag as Elvis music played over the PA system.
