From Black Friday to Cyber Monday: Today will be one of the busiest ‘online’ shopping days of the year. The National Retail Federation says more than 88% of retailers will be running a special promotion for Cyber Monday today. Also, the number of Americans doing their online shopping from a mobile device is projected to double this year. Massive online shopping will be done in ‘waves’. According to research, 44% of online shoppers plan to hit the web early this morning, around a third plan to shop closer to noon and roughly one-fourth of online shopping will go online early this evening.   RnR

China calling for emergency talks between North and South Korea that would include Japan, Russia, and the US. The talks in response to North Korea's deadly artillery attack on a South Korean island last week. RnR


Israel's chief rabbis along with the Center for Jewish-Christian Understanding and Cooperation is calling for a Day of Prayer…for rain. Israel's main water source is very low. No rain has fallen in Israel so far this month and forecasters expect the drought to continue at least through the first part of December.

More classified documents have been leaked. Hundreds of thousands of state department documents have been released by the online whistle-blower Wiki-Leaks on Sunday. The classified diplomatic ‘cables’ reveal communications between Washington, DC and American embassies around the world from 1966 through February of this year. The White House saying that the move puts the lives of diplomats and intelligence professionals at risk.

President Obama getting 12 stitches on Friday after getting ‘elbowed’ in the face during a friendly basketball game. The elbow was thrown by the director of programs for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute.  BTW: He received four stitches to his elbow.


FORMER PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH IS SCHEDULED TO MAKE AN APPEARANCE AT SADDLEBACK CHURCH IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA TODAY. Actor Leslie Nielsen, star of "Airplane!" and "The Naked Gun," died of complications from pneumonia on Sunday. He was 84. The Canadian-born Nielsen's career reached back into the early days of television. He played the earnest starship captain in the 1956 science-fiction classic "Forbidden Planet" and made regular appearances on a wide range of TV dramas into the 1970s, including "Hawaii Five-O." Sanctus Real lead singer Matt Hamitt and wife Sarah were VERY thankful last week. The couple celebrated Thanksgiving at home with their three children, including little baby Bowen. ‘Baby Bowen’ has been in the hospital since he was born more than two months ago.
